Now that the flood waters have subsided we will be blessing the Teme at Bransford Bridge on Sunday 7th January at 13:30.

The Blessing of the Waters (Agiasmos) With His Baptism, our Lord blessed the nature of the waters and the natural world. According to the Orthodox Faith, in the same way, the Holy Spirit sanctifies water – the most essential natural element – during the service of the Blessing of the Waters.
